NDIS Capacity Building Supports

Capacity Building Supports help NDIS participants develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to achieve their goals and increase their participation in everyday life. These supports may be delivered by professionals such as Support Coordinators, Psychosocial Recovery Coaches, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and other allied health practitioners. Capacity Building Supports can include assistance with accommodation and tenancy obligations, increased social and community participation, finding and keeping a job, improved health and wellbeing, improved daily living skills, and therapy supports tailored to individual needs and aspirations.

NDIS Core Supports

NDIS Core Supports provide funding for everyday assistance that helps participants live independently, engage in their community, and achieve their goals. These supports may include personal care, domestic assistance, community access, transport, and support from independent support workers. Core Supports are generally flexible, allowing participants to use their funding across different support categories based on their individual needs and circumstances.

Recovery Together acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise the enduring strength of First Nations cultures and communities.

We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all people. As a neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+ friendly organisation, we celebrate diversity and support every person’s right to be respected, valued, and empowered in their recovery journey.
